El hotel está muy bien, aunque para mi lo mejor es la comodidad de estar dentro del parque y entrar al mismo media hora antes de su apertura.

Unfortunately didn’t recognise Expedia gold member status and when I spoke to different staff including a manager they said they never heard of such benefits which was disappointing. Convenient to parks and clean. Food - we went full board - breakfast was ok decent selection. However, avoid dinner in buffet at hotel it was poor selection and no drinks available (not even water) you have to buy wine or beer. Exchange your voucher for one of restaurants in park or the la Liga one just outside.

Fantastic hotel, we stayed at the Callaghan building but used the main hotel for check in and meal times. It was spotless, staff were friendly and everyone in our family loved the theme. Hotel has own entrance to the park which was handy. Food was very good, huge choice at buffet. Drinks prices were very reasonable. Would recommend.

This is our 3rd year to PortAventura and second year staying at Golden river. The hotel is stunning and very clean in the common areas. We had booked double and twin beds but we had two doubles, this also happened last year so we were particularly careful when booking this time to book twin beds as one of ours sons is an autistic adult. They kindly upgraded us to a family room which was so nice. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette with a microwave and a large fridge which was great as we our boys like to have their favourite drinks and snacks. Aircon is very good and the shower is very powerful (too powerful as I worry about water waste). The room was cleaned every day which was lovely. We ordered a wheelchair because due to an injury I was unable to walk long distances or climb any stairs but this hotel is excellently adapted to those needs. The dropped the chair off to us and picked it up at the end of our stay for a €9 a day and €20 cash deposit. Unfortunately the buffet etiquette disappointed me this year, I felt it was over crowded and too many children unsupervised making a mess. I appreciate it’s a theme park but some rules need to be in place for eg, children under 10 should have an accompanying adult. They push in, take too much food and waste it and make an incredible mess. I saw two small children take sweets with their hands, I saw an older child struggling to pick up fruit one at a time ?? Adults can be equally rude pushing in front.

Super hôtel
Hôtel super. Le thème est respecté tout y est pour que l’on soit dans l’ambiance d’un parc à thème c’est génial. Seul bémol matelas trop dur et bruit dans les chambres. Les portes claque trop fort et si on vous donne une chambre avec un accès à l’autre sans que se soit quelqun de votre famille vous entendez tout !!!

Hotel overall is fine but dinner service is like the Wild West and make sure and eat fast. Park operations are amongst the worst that I have experienced globally….and I’ve been to a lot of theme parks. They heavily promote express pass and it shows….2 hour queues with one train on is unacceptable. Sadly I will not be rushing back.

La atención y la amabilidad perfectas. La habitación amplia y bien cuidada. Ademas incluye entrada exclusiva a la nueva atracción de 8.30 a 10.30 lo que es una ventaja viendo las colas que se forman.

Ohne Auto braucht man nicht herkommen, den man kommt ohne Taxi kaum weg. Das Personal ist unfassbar langsam. Ein komischer Geruch herrscht beim Betreten des Hotels. Zusätzlich ist es für die Leistung einfach viel zu teuer. Der Park hingegen wie immer Weltklasse

Stayed at Callaghan's (part of Gold River Hotel). Quiet hotel, big rooms and good beds. Easy parking, delicious breakfast and buffet dinner. Hotel is closeby entrance of Port Aventura, has a great swimming pool. Staff is friendly.

We had a great time in PortAventura, we stayed in Gold River Callaghan. We had full board; breakfast and dinner were at the main building; for lunch you have QR codes and use it various restaurants in all over the park. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. ParkAventura park was all fun, and staff were great.

After reading many reviews, we decided to visit the Gold River Hotel and it was first class on all levels. I have previously stayed at Disneyland Paris Hotels with my family and this is every bit as good. The quality of the food is excellent. They offer various slots for breakfast and evening meal, which suited us perfectly. Having unrestricted access to the park is ideal as we found queue times to be busy during the day but come back about 9PM and the ride queues are all very short. We had a connecting family room, which was very comfortable and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Genial. 100% recomendable. Es la segunda vez que voy a un hotel de portaventura y estoy muy encantada. Volveremos a repetir sin duda,nuevamente a gold river. Nos encanto la ciudad del hotel,las tiendas, restaurantes,piscinas tanto para peques como para adultos. Todo un gusto de estancia. El personal del hotel era encantador.
