Nonetheless, we found two cockroaches in the room, our pillows were old and formless, the bathroom sink's handle came out of its hinges, the showerhead was defective and did not offer a comfortable spread of water and finally they had a scheduled construction right next to our room window and while having other rooms available, failed to inform us and give us a chance to move. "It is a gem inside the Island. Follow the driving directions given by the staff ahead of time for an easy and beautiful drive. Staff attention to the guest is outstanding way beyond the expectations. There is a hiking trail in the property, moderate for non hikers. As a wildlife biologist I enjoyed bird watching during the day and a night walk with UV lights. There would be plenty of Fluorescent items to enjoy, lichens, chlorophyll covered rocks, a few rocks with sphalerite (orange fluorescence) and an incredible blue fluorescent millipede migration from the ground to the tree canopy. If you enjoy wildlife, make sure to pack a uv flashlight (365 nm). There are several mindfulness related activities available upon request for additional fees. Food is excellent, with affordable wines and PR based beers. Each room have a small balcony with an hammock, from where I am writing this review, and it is so relaxing, that I am going to get a nap."
