"Stayed very briefly, less than a day. Check in was easy. Concierge was very helpful - they got me an early check-in. Gave me recommendations for the area and helped me contact a local venue about a misplaced gift bag. Great area to stay and the hotel has everything you need. Would return!"

"This is a little gem (family owned) with sweet guitar evening music and views of the mediterranean. It is up a hill a little but walkable. A park is just around the corner. The staff are so kind and caring. The breakfast is very good and well organized and you can sit out in the garden or inside in air-conditioning on hot summer days. The room was very clean. An older hotel however it has maintained its standards and charm. Not pretentious, comfortable and felt like home. Oh, did I tell you they have a piano, books, games and a bar that is open 24/7 yet the place is quiet. I will return only to this hotel when in VilleFranche Sur mer. "

"The owner shared some great tips to see nearby Eze for drinks with an incredible view. You can also walk to the harbor for dinner from hotel. 700 steps down to sea level & Uber back. Nice breakfast included with a variety of options."

"I have such mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand it’s gorgeous and unquestionably a must stay at least once. Gorgeous. Magnificent. Beautiful. Some Staff (in particular when we checked in on July 29th) is phenomenal and very professional as well as in the Chantecler Restaurant as well as hotel bar on the premises with all around staff completely superb… Want to single out Ricardo for creating nothing short of a special experience for anyone who walks into the restaurant! But front desk and valet service is spotty, for hotel at this price point people could be more accommodating, professional and kinder! Please please be careful using the elevator it has two doors and not one and the glass door is very clean and if you are mildly distracted you can get really hurt. My kids found it found but I walked straight into the glass door and broke my nose. It hurt a lot. Thankfully it’s not disclosed. In the U.S. they would certainly put stickers on glass this clear. I am fine but someone could get really hurt. An older person or a child! Just beware. Oh the papillon suite we were in was gorgeous.absolutely indescribable. Overall we highly recommend this hotel just be careful in elevator and enjoy the history and the magic! "
