The Hotel was delightful and the staff very accommodating. The Hotel restaurant breakfast was extraordinary. We forgot our passports in the room safe and the hotel staff went above and beyond with handling the logistical challenges of delivering our passports before boarding the plane. Very appreciative!!!!

Ideally suited to explore Valparaiso, a very very hilly town! We had a small balcony from which we could see the ocean in the distance Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating Restaurant outdoors and inside was lovely Food excellent Maitrr’d very pleasant Cannot recommend highly enough great stay!

Bad management, Expensive, Unsafe.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE A VIP Hotel. They did not upgrade our room even though rooms were available. They received our email 6 months before but did not acknowledge or respond. At check-in, they said they had a note and it had been actioned. In fact the room was the most basic, with a terrible view and no balcony or patio. When I questioned this, the receptionist said she would speak to a manager. We left to visit the town and when we returned, nothing had been done. The new receptionist said the manager needed an email from Expedia. This has never been the case at other hotels. The room was of poor quality with no seating and various marks and scratches on walls and floor. The rug looked dirty and worn, similar to other parts of the hotel. The windows didn't open wide enough and the view was pretty poor. Our welcome gift was sent on day 2. The breakfast was ok for the price of the hotel. However, I was given ham on a vegetarian item and again at our boxed breakfast. There were minor gestures like paying for our taxi to the bus station but it was too little too late. The location felt unsafe as it was down a dead end road. STAY ELSEWHERE FOR A LOT LESS

Charming hotel in the middle of UNESCO World Herit

Didn’t know much about Valparaiso before arrival. Casa Higueras is located in the heart of UNESCO designated cultural heritage site. Stayed two nights and spent two days just exploring 10 city block square.

Wonderful Property on every level.

Absolutely wonderful property. The service in every level was outstanding. Rexnner was especially helpful with many services including arranging transfers and tours. The restaurant is excellent. The location is perfect for walking and access to the cruise port. AMAZING views !

Staff were great. Couldn’t do enough for us. Room and other facilities were clean and very comfortable. Location was a little odd, at the end of a skinny dead end road, but had some charm.

Every member of staff was excellent, so kind, helpful and efficient! We were switched to a more comfortable room at no extra cost and we absolutely loved our new room. The hotel restaurant is fantastic, eagerly accommodating my gluten free diet. We loved the pool and hot tub and chatting with other guests. We highly highly recommend Casa Higueras!!!
