Convenient to Paklenica NP and relaxing location
This hotel was a little hard to find at first, due to the way addresses work in Croatia. There was ample off-street parking and a little beach nearby. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful - she gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Restoran Pumpurela). This place (Vinjerac) has a very chill seaside atmosphere. The hotel is right on the edge of the water, next to a couple of restaurants and a small market. Our room at Tamarix was basically a studio apartment with a kitchen, queen bed, a desk, and a fold-out double bed. It was spacious and clean, with tile flooring throughout. Some quirks of this property: 1) we were located right next to the front desk, so we heard all the conversations and activity; 2) the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, just a high window that opened into the lobby area; 3) the room AC was remote-controlled and worked wonderfully; 4) there was nowhere to put toiletries in the shower except the floor; 5) we were given an actual metal room key and building key. We enjoyed the 14-hour storm that occurred while we were there - from about 8pm until 10am the next morning, even with the occasional brown-outs. We woke up really early and watched the lightning play across Paklenica/Velebit mountains across the bay, which we explored the day before and after the night we stayed here. Visit Paklenica National Park and the Vecka Kula castle ruins if you stay here. We would happily return for a longer stay.

Fantastisk oplevelse
Dejlig stor lejlighed med fantastisk udsigt over vandet. Lejligheden var i flot stand og servicen var i top. Byen er et lille lokalt fiskerleje hvor stemningen er skøn.

Small house in an idyllic fishing village
Located directly on the harbor and 50 meters from the small quiet beach. Rooms are big and very clean. The boss speaks Croatian, English, German and French. Very quiet little romantic fishing village with several good restaurants and a small grocery store. No ATM and no currency exchange in town! Well suited for romantics, honeymooners and peace seekers! The nearest major city is Zadar. The owner attaches importance to direct payment in kuna or euro, no credit card required. The view of the Velebit mountains is fantastic.

Härlig by och boende
Helt underbart boende i en liten gammal fiskeby. Trevligt hotell med möjlighet att köpa till frukost. Byn har endast en liten jourbutik och två restauranger. Tänk på att affären och restaurangerna inte tar kort.

Fantastisk beliggenhed direkte på havnen lige ned til vandet. Udsigten fra værelserne er outstanding. Fredelig og rolig lille by. Gratis Parkering ved hotellet. Der ligger kun en enkelt restaurant i byen, ( på havnen ) men her får man til gengæld noget dejlig veltillavet mad og menukortet er overraskende stort. Købmandsbutik med stort udvalg lige ved siden af hotellet. Pæne rene og ordentlige værelser. Et sted man meget gerne kommer tilbage til.

Lovely apartment with amazing views
The apartment is located in a real quiet village. Not too far from the A1 it is great for a stopover or a short relaxing break. The apartment was large (would sleep 5) and had a fully functioning kitchen. The views from the apartment are amazing and the owner was very helpful.

Hôtel au bord de l'eau, vue sur la mer.
Personnel accueillant. Chambre et salle de bains spacieuses. Endroit calme et paisible, jolie petite plage à proximité. Vue sur le port et la mer avec le parc nat Paklenica au loin. Splendide. Parfait pour une séjour romantique au calme.

Beautiful area
The apartohotel is right on edge of lake in small village. Beautiful area, and very quiet. It's perfect if you are travelling as we were and have a access to s car. The room was good - clean with small kitchen area. We kept the window open just to listen to the waves! Only negative the hotel needs better signage - entrance is from a side door so took a while to locate.

Spotless studio with brilliant view
We arrived late at night but were still warmly greeted and shown our spotless room with its amazing view out over the water. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, and there is a great little local shop selling fresh food just a minute away. Lovely place and lovely people - especially Milica in the hotel who was so helpful - thank you/hvala!

Confortevole B&B sul porticciolo
Gradevole struttura sul porticciolo di Vinjerac, piccolo villaggio non lontano da Zara. Non si tratta di una meta turistica conosciuta e,nonostante fosse Ferragosto, non c'era la ressa tipica di altre località più blasonate. La spiaggietta, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti, è molto piccola ma graziosa. A parte un paio di bar sul porto non ci sono altre attività ricreative ed è quindi un posto da scegliere per un paio di giorni di assoluto relax. La mia stanza, con vista sul mare, era spaziosa ben arredata e pulita. Come tutte le sistemazioni di questo tipo in Croazia, era presente anche un angolo cottura. Il bagno, anch'esso di buone dimensioni, non aveva la finestra (o meglio, ha un'apertura tipo finestra per il ricambio dell'aria che si apre sul pianerottolo delle scale, il che può creare qualche imbarazzo). Probabilmente a conduzione familiare, è gestito da sole donne che si occupano di tutto con disponibilità e cortesia. La prima colazione è piuttosto limitata ma non dissimile da quella proposta da altre strutture analoghe croate. Dispone, infine, di posti auto riservati.

Tranquil and unspoilt village apartment with views
Tamarix is a set of great apartments in Vinjerac which is a quiet village near to Posedarje. The windows of our apartment looked right out onto the marina and mountains beyond. We tried three of the local restaurants and all were great, the local bars are quiet places to relax. The owners are very friendly and the service was excellent.

Fint hotell mitt ute på landsbygden
Vi hade svårigheter att hitta till hotellet. Det fanns inte med på Google maps eller i vår GPS från Garmin (vägarna hette okänd väg) så allt vi hade att gå på var platsen på hotels.com. Hotellet saknade även rejäl skyltning så vi frågade en servitris på en närliggande bar om vart vi skulle och hon visste. Vi parkerade vår bil bil sagda anonyma hus och gick runt och letade. På ena kortsidan fanns en glasdörr med hotellets namn på, receptionen obemannad och dörren låst (aldrig varit med om något liknande när jag bokat på hotels.com). Vi frågade en tjej i samma byggnad men det var två konkurrerande hotell så hon ville inte hjälpa oss. Så vi ringde och efter ett tag fick vi tag på värdinnan som kom och öppnade. Rummet var fräscht och det största vi haft i Kroatien (2v). Observera att frukost ej ingår. Det står på hotels.com men vi hade missat det och trott att det ingick. Så då kom 10€/person för frukost som en chock för mig. Vägen dit är verkligen en lantväg så om du vill komma bort från storstäderna så är detta hotellet för dig.

Erholsamer Urlaub in kleinem Fischerdorf
Ort liegt ca. 35 km hinter Zadar das Aparthotel Tamarix liegt direkt am kleinen Fischerhafen . Vom Fenster schaut man direkt auf das Wasser. Das Apartment war neu renoviert uns alles war vorhanden was man braucht. Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut Regelmäßig Wurden Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen möchte und vielleicht die Nationalparks besuchen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben, Auto ist erforderlich.

Für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung.
Appartement war gross mit sehr schönem Ausblick inkl. Sonnenuntergang. Wir hatten ein altes Bad. Laut dem Flyer gibt es renovierte Badzimmer. Der Kissenbezug hatte auf beiden Seiten Flecken und der Esstisch war schmutzig. Wir waren in Kroatien in mehreren Unterkünften und wir haben uns, im Vergleich mit den anderen, hier am wenigsten Willkommen gefühlt. Die Ortschaft ist sehr klein. Anscheinend sollte es einen Mini Markt geben, den wir aber nicht gefunden haben. Und 2 Restaurants gibt es.

A hidden gem on the Croatia coast
I was looking for a place to stop for the night when driving back from Dubrovnik to Budapest, somewhere near Zadar. This came up when I was searching and it looked nice. It turned out to be a great find. A lovely small town, not too crowded with tourists which we were tired of, and beautiful scenery. It's a quiet town but a great place to relax. The hotel has apartments and since we had three people, we had a once bedroom apartment which was perfect for us (it slept at least 3!) It had a kitchen and bathroom, and faced the sea. The staff were lovely and set up a beautiful breakfast for us outside facing the harbor in the morning. We really loved this special place. Lovely walks, great sunset. Definitely would return.

An absolute haven.. I LOVED this apartment. Spacious, airy, perfect view. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host is lovely. Hands down the biggest surprise of my trip- amazing value too. The town is very quiet and untouched by tourists which was great- restaurant was good- but expensive and the local caffe bar was cheap as chips!!

Lovely quiet location, ideal for chilling.
We had a lovely time there despite the rain. Only problem we had was the shower. The head could only be used hand held as the mount was fitted wrongly.

Sympathique hôtel situé dans un endroit magique au fond d'une anse profonde. Les chambres sont très confortable et l'accueil est excellent.
