“Clean quiet property that was perfect for a one night stay. The staff were all lovely and we had no issues whatsoever. The breakfast had a good variety which was a nice plus.”
“We like this hotel! Clean, quiet, and well maintained. Close to all things JMU and cute downtown Harrisonburg. Nice comfortable lobby to spend time in. Pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. One elevator was out of order during our stay but wasn’t a big issue for us. We found the stairs.”
“Our experience wasn’t entirely negative, the staff was friendly and the place *mostly* appeared to be clean and must have been pretty recently renovated.
But our room smelled bad, and the AC unit especially smelled like it had significant mildew build-up in it. It also would not keep the fan on despite changing it off of auto, which would have helped cover up the noise of the very thin walls.
Our shower must not have even been examined thoroughly before our stay, as there was a used soap bar...
“Stain on sofa in room and front desk mentioned they were due to be changed but not until winter. We had to ask for a sheet to cover the sofa. Screen was torn out of screen door. Overall not bad and room was clean overall but the property needs some upgrading.”
