"I spent Midsummer on Visningsö and stayed at Wisningsö Hotell & Konferens. While the island is small, indeed, the hotel lies in the midst of it and offers a really good location. This is a high quality hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are divided into their own 'villas' and remind me of a cottage village. Charming! Clean and updated. "Amazing place at amazing price. Of cource it IS a hostel and not a hotel, but still... To be able to stay in a real castle at a rate that's lower than almost a month any hostel or motel is a fantastic experience. Good communication before arrival, and super easy check in via a keybox. The settings around the castle grounds also are beautiful with a magic little lake. The snall breakfast buffet was fine, and they had arranged glutenfree bread just for us.
