"When you balance the comparative price of other places in the area and the quality of the room you get, this place was excellent, and I would stay again. Nice fittings, spacious, etc. It's a little quirky. There won't be anyone at reception when you arrive and the front door will be locked, anyway, regardless of whether you are within reception hours. It's not the most obvious sign, and there are two potential front doors, but eventually you'll see the sign that says you need to call a number...

"We had a great apartment, clean, large and well equipped, with good decor. The bed was big and very comfortable. The location is great it's very easy to access the centre of Groningen with a short walk. My only criticism would be that it was very hot and it was hard to cool the room down. That said we were there during very hot weather. But all in all, a great place to stay."

"It was SO hot when we were in the Netherlands, so our large, cool room with a nice big bathroom was just what we needed after driving up from Amsterdam! The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was also great to be able to go downstairs and have such a delicious dinner. The breakfast was pretty good also. It's a good location if you want a bigger hotel experience while exploring this part of the country. The parking building is slightly confusing, so make sure you get good instructions for getting back to your car, and if you have a lot of luggage unload it at the hotel's front desk before you park. It's a nearby building but it's just easier that way."
