"Great location, clean rooms, professional and helpful and friendly front desk staff. Must acknowledge Nieles at the front desk. We checked in quite early from a bike and barge trip and had expected to leave our bags and come back at check in time. Instead, Nieles kindly checked and found a room that was ready. After our strenous bike trip, having a room ready early was a blessing. Going above and beyond like Nieles did leaves a positive and lasting impression of the hotel. Another front desk staff member (sorry I did not get his name) pointed out that the train station we had reserved was too far out and we should have booked from Sint Michaels so we went there instead to catch the train saving time and money. I cannot stress enough that such kindness and professionalism is the exception (I travel alot and can attest) and needs to be specifically acknowledged. I will be recommending Martin's to friends and family planning a trip to Bruge."
