Lindstrøm Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean and the amenities were sufficient, but the bed was rather hard. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was free car charging overnight for our rented EV. Dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast. Parking was free and located directly in front of the hotel. Location was excellent. We drove through the longest tunnel in Norway to get to the Borgund Stave Church and back again. The following day, the choice we made to travel to Geiranger was through the National Glacier Park."

"Clean room and helpful staff. Get there before the tour buses arrive. Walks are kind of thin and noise from nearby rooms can be heard."

"The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name."

"Even though we only had 1 night here we really had a great stay at this resort. It was nice to sit on the balcony during the time we were here which gave us a beautiful view of the fjord. The apartment had everything we needed and there was a nice restaurant just by the resort . Next time we would like to stay here longer"

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
