"This is an excellent family-owned hotel with fabulous decor just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's location about 3 minutes from the main street means it's nice and quiet. "We spent 1 night on Vulcano in the really nice Pensione La Giara. It is conveniently situated on a relatively quiet street on a little over 5 min walk from the port, and on route to the path ascending to the vulcano. We were in two neighbouring bedrooms with shared bathroom for both rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. The owner on arrival advised on the trip up the vulcano and on nearby restaurants. "the service was great , staff so friendly and helpfull , i had a huge room wth an amazing terrace with an even better view , breakfast is ok , great for people who love bread jejeje but thats about it and a good coffee , my room was close to the one Street so i could hear the motorcycles couples of times while i was sleeping but didnt bother me too much cause overall i was very hapy with my stay Muy buen hotel , limpio suoer servicial y amigable , el desayuno es básicamente una canasta...

"This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra."
