"I’ve traveled all over the world and had some amazing experiences, but nothing compares to the hospitality I experienced at Wild Oryx Bubble Camp. As a solo traveler, it’s hard to explain just how welcomed, safe, and genuinely special I felt here — but I’ll try. From the moment I arrived, Eid, the camp owner, made me feel like I was visiting family. Even before I got to Wadi Rum, he was messaging me, checking in, and guiding me through my commute so I never felt alone or unsure. The second I stepped off the bus, I just knew it was him waiting for me — his energy was that warm and kind. Before heading to the camp, Eid stopped to let me grab food and drinks, then invited me into his home where he patiently walked me through different tour options on his iPad. What I loved most was that he was never pushy — just genuinely wanted me to pick what I wanted. Once I chose, I was off to the camp with Ata, my guide, and Marwan, our driver. Ata and Marwan made the Wadi Rum tour unforgettable. We laughed, we shared stories, and Ata somehow doubled as a professional photographer — taking some of the most stunning photos and videos I have of my trip. The highlight? Watching the sun melt into the horizon from the top of a mountain. Absolutely magical. Back at camp, Sayed had prepared a huge, delicious dinner that honestly blew me away. "The deluxe cabin was excellent. Very comfortable, nice bathroom, and really good AC. Convenient parking off the main road without having to drive into Wadi Rum. The food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the dinners, where delicious chicken and lamb were served along with great salads. "

"What a fantastic way to start experiencing Wadi Rum. Communication from the property before the trip was easy. There is a vehicle that takes you from the parking area to the actual hotel -- this is also where you can reserve a desert excursion. (Note: cash only and there are no ATMs around.) The hotel staff is great. Check-in was easy. My "room" was clean and comfortable -- and cool, as the property had set the AC before my arrival. Great view of the desert from the bed and couch. Loved the little deck area with chairs and a hammock. Got the most use from the hammock, enjoying the desert night air under a full moon. Breakfast/dinner service was excellent. Be aware the there's little close by and once you're on-site, you're there so brings any snacks you'll want. In all: very recommended!"

"We had a lovely stay. Staff are welcoming and very helpful in every way. Dinner was good (traditional rice cooked in Zarb oven with lamb and chicken options). Breakfast was good as well. The camp site is comfortable, quiet, and clean. Staff are considerate even when it came to the drive to the camp site (they drove gently unlike others that would speed on the bumpy desert track)."
