โThe Innkeeper, Carmen, is very personable and really relates with the guests and their needs. A very nice and quiet place with understated class.โ
โWell run, beautiful property with fun & tasty amenities. Inn is walkable to town, restaurants & Colony beach. Would stay again & recommend for sure. โ
โThe 1802 House is a charming bed and breakfast in beautiful Kennebunkport. Juliana welcomed us and was a truly wonderful host. The inn is lovely and breakfast was top rate. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short! We would absolutely stay at The 1802 House again when in Kennebunkport amd would recommend a stay there to family and friends. โ
โBeautiful old house on quiet street within walking distance of Kennebunkport centre. The house is full of character and has welcoming hosts. The room (The Study) was downstairs and we were the only guests that night, so was very peaceful. Breakfast was cooked by Chris and was delicious.
Will definitely stay here again when we have the chance. โ
โRelaxing property nestled in the woods, just a few minutes drive from Kennebunkport. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Everything was incredibly clean, the room and bathroom were larger than I expected, and relatively quiet with a small number of rooms. Multiple outdoor seating areas, not a heavily trafficked road. The woman working the check in was so sweet and lovely to chat with. Gave great recommendations on what to do in the area. Would absolutely stay here again for the comfort.โ
โWe attended a wedding at the hotel from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and inviting. The grounds provided plenty of seating areas for sitting quietly or with family. Our grandson loved the children's club an unexpected bonus. Latitudes was a great place for lunch as was marketplace for coffee. Our room was excellently appointed. Loved that we could walk into town and avoid the traffic. Overall just a great place to stay.โ
โI liked that at night the only way to get into the hotel was with a swipe card, nobody works at the front desk during those night hours so I felt safe. Parking was great and just walking in the area around to get to the restaurants and shopping was really easy.โ
โLoved this place! Perfect for families. Loved the free bike rentals, free sโmores kits, continental breakfast with amazing muffins and a good variety of board games. Super close to Main Street and all the shops! Highly recommend!โ
โI was looking for a resort on the Maine coast that was dog friendly and the Colony Hotel knocked it out of the park. The facilities are fantastic, beautiful views and a brief walk to downtown Kennebunkport. Lots of dogs families and couples, young and old. We will likely come back every summer from now on.โ
โI saw some negative reviews regarding the "older decor" of the property. If you know this in advance and you're not super bougie, this is the place to go. I actually enjoyed feeling like I was back 25 years ago before cell phones and chaos. The property is super clean and well-kept with a nice pool. The food at the outdoor restaurant was super reasonable, and drinks were cold. The breakfast was good and was restocked as soon as it got low. Everyone was friendly. The bed and pillows were...
