Hotel Senator

"The staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and lovely. The antique bones of the hotel are great, including touches like exposed brick in the bathroom; this could be a very nice boutique hotel - and it still is nice- but it needs a little updating and TLC at this point (and ideally not a noisy boozy smelling pub attached, but to each their own I guess; i get that Winston’s is considered an epic staple in Saskatoon). Some noise proofing from the busy downtown street would help a lot too. Overall it had character and charm, met our needs well, was pet friendly and safe, well located downtown close to the river, and we very much enjoyed our stay."

"I stayed at Days Inn in Saskatoon for a week, and I honestly only leave reviews when something is either really good or really bad. This hotel definitely does not fall in the middle — it is genuinely very good. I found the bed comfortable and clean, and the room itself was also very comfortable and well maintained. I didn’t use the pool during my stay, but I noticed people using it every single day, so you can tell it’s clean, enjoyable, and well taken care of. What I appreciated the most was the atmosphere created by the staff. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. They make you feel comfortable, almost like you’re at home. There’s nothing better than arriving at a hotel and feeling truly at ease. I also want to thank the gentleman at the front desk because on my first day I arrived a little early, and he kindly allowed me to check in before the regular time. I really appreciated that. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling throughout my stay. Overall, it was absolutely worth it. I will most likely stay here again on my next visit to Saskatoon. Thank you, Days Inn Saskatoon team 💛"

Midtown Inn

4/10 Poor

"Bed was pretty good, other than that, ther was no toilet paper in the room, just a hand towel and face cloth, rust rings in tub, paint peeling off all the walls, a tv that you needed a telescope to see, two wooden chairs and a tiny sticky table, doos look like they were kicked in and poorly repaired, floors were sticky. I wasn't expecting 5 star, but wow, that was terrible. Will never go there again."

Sandman Signature Saskatoon South Hotel

"I stayed for 4 nights and had placed th refresh room on the door handle when I left the room each day. My room was not cleaned once in these 4 days. I had let the front desk know after day 3 they said they would let house keeping know and my room still wasn’t clean. When I checked in as well the first day I stayed on the 3rd floor the hallway smelled like sewer. My 4 nights which was a Sunday there was multiple parties on every floor where I complained about noises and nothing was done. I ended up leaving my hotel room at 4AM. Mind you this was May long weeknd."
