Polonia Palace Hotel

"Polonia Palace is a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous historic interior. My room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet, and the location is extremely convenient. Breakfast had an excellent variety. I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant—the food and service were very good. Unfortunately, there were too many service hiccups during my short stay. I booked two rooms for the first night and one for the second, and asked to remain in the same room. The receptionist said she would add a note but didn’t ask which room I wanted, so I had to return the next morning to confirm it. At check-in, I was asked if I wanted breakfast for both nights and said yes. However, on the second morning I was told it wasn’t included. I was initially allowed in, but staff approached me after I had started taking food, creating an uncomfortable situation. After dinner, the waiter forgot to obtain a required signature, so the payment was rejected and he later had to find me in the hotel to process it again. Individual mistakes happen, but their concentration during such a short stay was frustrating. Overall, the hotel itself is excellent, but the service lacked warmth, empathy, and attention to detail, leaving me reluctant to return."

"A short but very enjoyable stay. The hotel is centrally located, close to the metro and the city center. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of people at breakfast, but we still managed to eat comfortably – we didn't wait too long for our food, and the buffet was always replenished. We highly recommend it."
