Stayed with my son and daughter. Very comfortable stay with new building, equipments and so on. Design and atmosphere is like Disneyland but more natural and wild.
Great stay, staff were very helpful. Beds very comfy.
Wish there were more outside tables while the children are “learning to joust” etc
And would have been handy if we could have paid cash….another cashless establishment
The room at the hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were amazing but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. We were advised to book for what was described as a carvery type meal which we did but could only get one slot at 6.30 so booed that. We decided as there was such a long wait to go to the Knights tavern for a drink first and we saw the food being served and it looked really good so we asked if we could cancel the buffet and order there which we did and paid for the meal. About 10 minutes later a staff member informed us we couldn't have what we'd ordered as they had run out. What a rigmarole having to rebook and wait for the buffet which when we finally got there was dire for the price of £120.00 for 2 adults and a 14 and 8 year old with one alcoholic drink for me and my husband I think is extortionate and spoilt the day. My husband will eat pretty much anything and he said it was very poor. The breakfast was nice and honestly the staff are so nice.
Was incredibly clean the lodge was fantastic and great for families. The staff were approachable and friendly and the parking was good. We enjoyed the breakfast but the all you can eat the night before we found a little disappointing due to the price for the quality of food.
The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well organised. I think the pizzas from the tavern are overpriced at £16 pounds for a ten inch! The night entertainment was super and our little boy loved it, as well as us. We liked how they had adult jokes that went over the kids heads so entertaining for all. The knight Vicky was very funny. All in all a very interesting stay and we intend on returning.

Wonderful and magical place to stay. Really enjoyed a two night stay in the grounds to see the castle. Very clean and tidy with a great breakfast. Would stay again.
