Arlo Washington DC

"Went to DC with our family and stayed at the Arlo (kids excited to swim in the rooftop pool). While very stylish and great location, there were some things worth pointing out: 1) the beds are very firm. My husband and I travel frequently for work, and these beds became uncomfortable by the 2nd night, 2) although the AC worked great and was quiet, the bathroom had no vent and room started to feel like air was not circulating. So, it started to smell musty and stale, and 3) sadly, the cool rooftop pool was very small - a strange mix of slightly long and narrow. Wish I loved it more! The style was awesome and the food/drinks were great."

"I was very disappointed in The ChurchHill. The staff was not helpful, even cutting me off and not even looking up to answer my question of when check out time was. My room was never cleaned and towels Were not replaced on my fifth day, even though the room was available from 9:30 am- 11:30pm. I found the staff quite rude to guests. The hotel has no amenities other than some coffee in the morning. I wish I had stayed at another hotel."
