The hotel is a delightful old building, with high ceilings and lovely woodwork. And while old, it is clearly well-maintained. The bed was quite comfortable, with sufficient pillows and the bonus of an extra blanket. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

I had a bug in my room and some hair in the tub but otherwise pretty good stay.

It was a very charming square that reminded me of the town I grew up in. There were cute boutiques and a bakery where we ate breakfast in that had delicious pastries. It felt safe, it was quiet, easy to find parking, and overall very wholesome.
Restaurant options are scarce unless you want fast food.

We didn't have a chance to investigate Washington. We arrived late on Tuesday evening and my mom had surgery early Wednesday morning.
A delightful community. Loved the antique store across the street.
