"Really nice rooms - very comfortable beds, clean towels/linens, lots of toiletries, etc. The owners know how to treat guests well. The guy/owner checking us in was very friendly and down to earth - explained everything very quickly/simply, then let us get on with things. Good wifi in the room - no complaints. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. We didn't bother trying the free coffee available in reception, or the 'breakfast' - as we got the impression it was likely just some unhealthy doughnuts or something! But we didn't expect breakfast, so weren't disappointed."

"What an amazing and quaint hideaway! We were met by friendly staff, an inviting sitting area with fireplace, and delicious hot apple cider. Check in was easy, the room was cozy, and the restaurant/lounge with live music was in an attached building. We highly recommend it!"

"Our stay was nice. Bed are very comfortable, and the room was well stocked with anything we may have needed extra of a few doors down. The shower was a bit of a pain as the head pointed right at the wall and that could not be changed so you have to remove it to rinse. Other then that I had zero issues with the room. "

"VERY "mom and pop" feel to a nice, unassuming hotel. The front office is welcoming and helpful, the beds are some of the best I've stayed at, and the shower's water pressure is VERY nice. We stayed for one night, but there is a community kitchen you can use so if you stay longer, you can have convenience of cooking a meal and not eating out the whole time. Only slight complaint is that you can hear the main road at times, but it didn't upset our sleeping."
