“The building is a beautiful old house split into apartments, the decor could do with an update but is acceptable, the sanitary fixtures are tired but still work. Would stay again, great location.”

“Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.”

“Beautiful property, exterior looks like manor house. Well maintained private garden where you can play with your dog or have a quiet read. Ample parking. Only grouse - our windows would not open and it was a bit stifling in the heat.”
