"The hotel was very clean and had modern facilities with clean fresh towels and toiletries provided, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bar and dinning area have been refurbished but have been styled in a retro vibe which added to the experience, there was good choice for breakfast which was of a good standard, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we will certainly be staying there again."

"It felt like this was a nice hotel 20 or so years ago. When you arrive, you’re greeted by two vending machines (one was empty) and a bar (disused). The staff were friendly, and the bedding was clean. But the rooms? Wall lamps that had unpainted and unsanded plaster behind each one. A free-standing floor lamp that was just a bulb and a stick, the shade long gone. Where the mirror should have been (by the dresser) there were just two metal hooks, and the mirror itself was loose on another table. The toilet had a big wooden box behind it that was clearly water-damaged over many years, but rather than fix it, there was some vinyl flooring (!) attached to the back of the cistern to try and cover it up, except that was just flapping, loose. And the “sea view” room? No sea view, just a garden with some broken beds in it. If you just need somewhere to sleep, then it’s fine, but if you want a room to relax in, there are plenty of better options."

"Parking was behind the hotel at £15 for 24hrs,rooms need an upgrade,but ok to sleep in,carpets in room 222 were worn,windows need desperate attention due to cracked pane and also sash cord broken,toilet bowl needs lots of lime scale attention and shower was leaking at the shower head,was reported when we checked out. "

"We stayed in the beach huts and this is a must!!! It was absolutely perfect, the views, decor, food, pool (you can have it to yourselves for 30mins, which i did with my kids everyday)and if with kids you can sit on your balcony and watch your children play on the beach infront of you. The staff went out of their way to make our stay super special. It was perfect!"

"The room was clean but the lack of air conditioning really let it down. Although we stayed in a particularly warm spell, I imagine that it would be pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. It was difficult to sleep due to the heat. The staff were really friendly but not particularly efficient in the Sports Bar. Many people were queuing for quite some time to get a drink. The vegetarian options in the Sports Bar were extremely limited. The option picked was awful but a refund was given without any issues. The non-vegetarian choices made were ok but nothing special for the prices charged. It put us off dining in the restaurant. Breakfast was ok and could have been improved by different coffee options, more fresh fruit, and better quality pastries. Labels on items would have helped those with dietary issues/restrictions. All in all we did enjoy our stay but a few tweaks would have made it somewhere to return to."
