"Clean room, maybe slightly outdated. Air conditioning isn’t really air conditioning, just blows air. Much cooler to open the door to the balcony which was a lovely touch. Mini fridge for our own drinks and a whole mini kitchen with plates, cutlery and cups etc. you could even cook there if you wish. Bathroom was separate to the toilet which was great. Lovely soft beds. Tv was just basic local channels but didn’t bother us. Overall really good value for money. We ended up paying 2 euros for parking on the public spots outside."

"Great service and location. Good access to the tram into the old town. Staff very helpful. Parking was secure and easy to access. Lack of air conditioning meant the rooms was quite warm. Fresh juicing oranges was great otherwise the breakfast was only ok."

"This is a very good hotel - but there is one significant issue and that is the lack of transparency about the pool only being able to be used by nudists. We arrived at the hotel and it was 39 degrees - don’t worry I said to my wife we have a hotel with an outdoor pool. We were told at reception it was 10 Euro to access the spa and pool and the.n that we would have to do so without fabric - a German tradition we were told. This was really upsetting for my wife who folllowing a second case of Breast Cancer had been given a double mastectomy with reconstruction and was not comfortable or confident being naked in public. When I shared this point with the reception there was no empathy - rules are rules. All of this significant upset could have been avoided if the Expedia website and the hotel website were clearer and more transparent about the pool access being dependent on wearing no swimwear. If we had known this we would have booked another hotel. Anyway the rest of the hotel was very good - but please be transparent and upfront about this requirement."

"Room was a good size with comfy beds and clean. Parking was very easy outside and there was a tram direct to Strasbourg. Check-in was quick and easy and staff were friendly."

"It's right in the middle of everything. The train station is five minutes away and the parking is in the back. Crowded and not too many spaces but you have to expect that in Germany and at least they have it. I would definitely stay there again"
