"We come here every year to visit my wife's sister who lives nearby. We are older folks from Victoria so we get the one bedroom suite, for comfort since we are here for several days to a week. Been here twice in the past 2 months. We are seasonned travellers. PROS: Lake view is terrific, we move the dining table in front of the window so we can look at the view when using it. The king bed is comfortable, the bathroom large and the shower large, the suite large, small kitchenette. Parking is fine. The grounds are nice, it all depends if you are new to the West Coast, we are not new here. The suite overall comfortable and reasonably priced. Good location, safe area. Close to shopping, grocery and Malls, but drive only. Not walkable. CONS: Few facilities. Breakfast is limited continental, we never use it. Not enough end tables in the living room, only one for 2 large couches, few lamps, not enough lights, quite dark at best of times. Biggest issue is no hooks in bathroom on walls or back of door for bathrobes or clothes/towels, how much can that cost? Another issue, no drink or snack machine in the lobby...they do sell a couple of snacks and a couple warm cans of pop....from what we observed. Did not ask if they have cold pop. It is an older property but in good shape. Staff is nice."
"Super small town so not a lot of choices. We got in later than 6 and didn't call. The manager was available but way into gaming and didn't want to leave his house. Gave the passcode through the window (super awkward), but the room was also open."
"Outside was deceiving and we thought we accidentally went to wrong place but when we got inside it is fully renovated and very clean and new. I usually bring my own hairdryer but they had a regular full due in the room. Oversized towels. Netflix on smart TV. Easy to use thermostat. Friendly staff. The rooms all face the same way and no ocean view but that was ok because the ocean is pretty well right out the door. Very nice stay!"
"We absolutely loved our stay. The resort was exquisite. We will most definitely be back.
Only constructive feedback is that the hot tubs are really more like bathtubs in the premium tents, and there were some broken things in our room such as an outlet didn't work and our bug sapper was broken as well. Otherwise, it was wonderful"
