"I’ve stopped at this hotel previously so knew it was a really good hotel. Our recent trip again didn’t disappoint. As previous the place was immaculately clean and the staff as brilliantly friendly and helpful. You can book parking directly under the hotel which great. I’d most definitely stop again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend."

"We stayed at The James twice during our visit to the Netherlands. First time we were located on the 3rd floor, good sized room, large shower, soundproofing great. The second time on the 11th floor, again a good sized room, although I preferred the third floor. Bath and shower in this room which was great. Didn’t use the 2nd floor amenities but had a look and there was a great selection available. Close to everything - station, shops, restaurants and sights. Reception team were lovely and very helpful when the national transport strike was confirmed, assisting us in getting to Eindhoven via taxi. Would recommend."

"This is an eco-friendly hotel. Most of the structure, furniture, etc. have been made by companies using recycled materials. It has an interesting lobby with access to a variety of coffees, snacks, and a sitting area. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom.The rooms are basic, but have everything one needs. The toilet, sink, and shower areas are all separate in the room, giving privacy. The double bed was against the wall, making it difficult for older people to get out of bed without crawling over their partner. We were pleased with the accommodation, but if you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you."

"Great location. Spacious room, and a kitchen so you could make your own breakfast and snacks. Dining table and arm chair. Comfy beds. A little tired looking but clean. We were very happy."

"Pretty much amazing and safe for the price, nicest staff, always available drinks and 2am snacks. Rooms are simple and well layed out, with ample room for each occupant. Two caveats, however. One was our sink plug, broken upon arrival, but that was far from a problem and I know that they would have fixed it should we have needed that service. Two, safes are not secure, as ours was giving us trouble and I was able to GOOGLE a universal safe unlock code for the make and model very easily. This startled us a bit, and I'm sure it's an issue that other safes face, but just don't put 100% trust in it. Despite that, our room felt very secure in the care of the staff. This is the best deal, the best location and the best hotel we were able to find in Antwerp, by miles."
