Charming old cottage that has more than you need, great heating and spa bath. the Owners Kellie and Kerry go out of there way to make you welcome, we arrived to a present they left us a sample pack of Tassie Gin, port to warm you up in the evening. It's right across from the IGA and Pharmacy which is handy and walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes ,pub , whiskey Bar and foreshore, we will back sometime

Cosy cottage stay
Great location and clean and cosy cottage. Off street parking and easy walk to town centre. Cottage had everything you need for a self catered stay and welcoming abd friendly hosts.

Our favourite accommodation in Tasmania (police superintendents residence). The owners are lovely and go above and beyond with special touches.

Loved the fire place and the little things like the awesome toiletry packs, complimentary port and how the cottage is decorated. It's in a great location within walking distance to all services.

The Church
The Church was cozy and quirky, busy area but quiet at night very convenient to everything in Strahan. Pet friendly was the best bit, our dog loved people watching.

We stayed in the Police Super Intendant's Cottage which was quaint in its history and age. However, some maintenance is required with cracks in doors which lets in cold air etc. Heating is good though. Lighting provides a historical mood but is inadequate for modern day purposes - would suggest the use of stronger lights and dimmers.

Wow - What a beautiful cottage. Just unique. A converted church with all amenities. Sitting in front of the open fire was just special.

Cosy cottage with a nice "old world" atmosphere. I liked the open plan and the floor boards in the living area. It was great to be able to have my two dogs stay with me. The only thing missing really was a washing machine or place to wash or hang clothes.

My husband, dog and I had a lovely time in St Johns Cottage. The cottage was beautifully renovated with all the specialty timbers looking excellent. There is a beautiful fireplace that was ready to go for us (although we were too busy to get it going). Even without the fire the heater kept us warm. Kerry and Kellie were very welcoming, giving us a great reception and then leaving us to enjoy the cottage. They were also very welcoming of our dog. Would definitely recommend Kerrellie cottages to anyone staying in Strahan.

Beautiful old Church fantastic decor very clean and comfortable made to feel at home by the owner Kellie if you stay here you will be gobsmacked at how big and nice this accomodation is if we go back to Tasmania this is a must stay for us

Felt like Royalty
Opening the door to the Superintendent's Cottage was like stepping into luxury. The furniture is all period furniture: Chesterfield Lounge and Arm chairs; gorgeous dining suite; massive TV and a spa. Everything was the best and yet I think the price for the rental is fair. The scarlet and gold duvet cover with the matching drapes (even a fluffy bathrobe on the bed) was regal in appearance. We could step through the doors in the bedroom onto our own little private back deck to enjoy our morning cuppa. The garden was filled with dahlias and the bees buzzed happily around) (The Internet photo doesn't show the new picket fence and the front garden) We didn't use the other bedroom (two single beds) but it too was spacious and beautifully turned out. I wish we could have spent our whole holiday time there. The owners are lovely people. We hope to return.

Good value for money. A home away from home! Fully operational kitchen and an IGA directly across the road in case you feel like cooking.

Old world charm but not good value.
It was a quaint room, but floors and doors were shonky. Character filled, but not value for $ at $150 a night. No air conditioning and it was hot weather! Much better value elsewhere, even for peak tourist time.

Beautiful old church
Had a lovely stay - the property was tastefully decorated with a beautifully comfortable king sized bed on the mezzanine level.We really enjoyed our stay.

Olde world charm
Lovely place to stay. Central to main street Strahan. Bathroom tiles need fixing however the remainder of the property was clean and well maintained. The owner was welcoming and very informative.
