"A few of the reviews worried me, but I'm so glad we stayed here! We stayed as a family with our 4 & 7 year olds, and being a smaller resort, it was perfect for them. We loved the slides, lazy river / sandy beach area, and hot tubs scattered around the grounds. It rained a bit while we were there, so the pools / lazy river being heated was great! So great to have dry and warm towels available as well. The s'mores were fun. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Yes, the pool and lazy river had a few leaves because of all the live oak trees, but it wasn't bad at all (didn't feel gross), and totally worth it for such pretty surroundings. We also appreciated that they allow you to use the amenities before check-in and after check-out. The price was so worth what you get here. Our room was on the ground level in the Mountain Laurel building. Even with the rain, we didn't have one bug in the room. It was very clean, bed was comfy, water was hot and had great pressure. A few little things may have some wear on them, but overall, it was great - absolutely nothing to complain about! Also, getting our parking pass from the timeshare desk wasn't bad at all - they were not pushy at all and really super nice. I am so glad we found this place. Definitely a hidden gem!"
