Disappointed but a blessing in disguise.
I booked 1 night at this property for a spontaneous trip to see Lee Cole perform, so I booked the night before I left. I got to the property and they showed me a room, only to tell me that someone booked the entire place and that - that room was meant to be mine but now isn't. I was upset that no one contacted me that morning to inform me. I was then given a full refund and I left. I am actually so glad that I never stayed there - a blessing in disguise. I found a better place with great hospitality, lagoon views, it was cheaper and included breakfast at The Waterfront Lodge.

Convenient and pleasant
Excellent service and pleasant surroundings. The room we were in could do with a bit of tender cleaning.

Wir fühlten uns völlig unwohl, grauenhaftes Klientel. Betten einfach unzumutbar, mit Flecken, von der Matratze ganz zu schweigen. Wir sind sofort wieder abgereist. Das einzig Positive war der Ausblick!

Não possui ducha. Não possui isolamento acústico e você escuta os hóspedes dos demais quartos caminhando. Não possui cortinas blackout. Razoável café da manhã.

Lovely Room
We stayed at Senate for the Knysna Oyster Festival and the guest house was perfectly situated for this. Thank you for welcoming us and making us feel so at home

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer ohne Fenster und einem relativ großem Bad, Einrichtung war etwas spärlich aber für eine Nacht ausreichend, in der Nacht leider sehr hellhörig; Frühstück war okay und wurde auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet
