“We hadden een prima kamer. Vantevoren was er online een hangmat te zien bij onze kamer, maar deze was er niet, wat ik zeker wel jammer vond. Het personeel leek er over het algemeen geen zin in te hebben om te helpen. Ik stelde een vraag over een pot waar de dag ervoor oats in zaten, het meisje ging erheen, keek er verbaast in en liep weg. Ik kreeg niet eens een antwoord. Het personeel at elke ochtend hun eigen ontbijt achter het ontbijtbuffet. Zoiets heb ik nergens ter wereld ooit meegemaakt en...

“Location is nice and convenient, close to ocean and national park. Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. Breakfast was good and nature all around. ”

“What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower was excellent. The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - we heard every word and footstep from the suite above. “This delightful eco lodge felt so laid back and relaxed, while also providing lovely amenities that we felt so taken care of. We stayed in one of their queen-bed bungalos which was open air (but screened in) and had a hot shower. Only having wifi at the lodge meant we fully unplugged while in our little jungle home, but we're still able to have access in the common area for trip planning which was helpful. We loved being able to walk across the street to Playa Chiquita, which has the loveliest...

“The hotel is on the beach, open your patio door and you have a view of the ocean beyond the garden. The sound of the waves lull you sleep. The hotel is surrounded by gorgeous tropical flora, coconuts & palms. It’s also close to all amenities. Several upscale restaurants, artisan bakeries & shops as well as delicious street vendors. I extended my stay because there’s so much more to do here than I initially anticipated. The hotel staff are helpful & accommodating 10/10”

“We had a great stay. The staff were excellent. They were very kind, and made our stay very comfortable. The only thing l mussed was having a coffee machine, and a microwave. However they did provide coffee in the lobby in the morning. The hotel is right across the street from the ocean. Shopping , and restaurantes everywhere. Greeted with howler monkeys high up in the big tree across the street. Also a sloth right across the street. ”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rum was a bit small but bed comfortable and with AC. Room and bath, supposedly being accessible, were located on the 2nd floor with a stair care, with no functioning elevator, causing difficulties, to access reception and dining hall on 1st floor. Staff did deliver breakfast to the room for the handicap person. Bath did not have any safety bars and the walk in shower floor was extremely slippery, so we must lay towels on the floor to be safe.
