Beautiful location & a great variety of amenities . This resort truly has anything you’d want or need: lodging in hotel/lodge rooms, cottages, lakeside homes, or camping. Recreation options include golfing, fishing, hiking, boating (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, pontoon & Craig cat rentals), 3 restaurants with gourmet food. Everything on the resort is walkable. The indoor & outdoor heated pool & hot tub and fitness room are also a bonus.

Stonewall Resort is one of my most favorite places to stay in West Virginia. It is so beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Bill is such a great help with everything. He is very friendly and helpful and always has a smile to share. He helped us with our luggage, drove me in the cart to my suv, helped us with pictures and more! Also, the food at the breakfast buffet is delicious, rooms were beautiful, with a great view of the lake. The BOO bash I highly recommend! The DJ was jamming and it was great! Me and my friends can't wait to come back again!

The positive was, it was a nice get away. The staff were super friendly, there was a little library next to the lobby that had a fireplace and we enjoyed reading, and playing a game near the fire. They had a coffee stand near the lobby to buy coffee and the coffee was really good. The room could use new bedding, one extra pillow, new tiles in the shower(mold), and the word resort could be removed. Als there was a fridge in the room but no microwave. It would be nice to have some type of breakfast included and free coffee in the lobby. The hot tub inside was broke, one heater was out and there were no bubbles, we were told we could use the one outdoor but would need to swim to it from inside because the deck was closed due to ice. The pool was too cold to swim to the hot tub. The sauna was nice but the steam room did not work. Other than that we were glad to have a night away with our family.
