Hotel was the best we have stayed at so far. It was quiet. Close by bursa doughnuts and mora bakery. A walk away from tip top coffee and the train history site. We had an amazing time!

Told room was ready, other people had been waiting for hours though. Go to room and it was not at all ready. Bed still dirty, bathroom not cleaned, milk in fridge from last people. Shower has no water pressure. Had a hard time getting my hair rinsed out. Walls are paper thin. No kidding could hear the couple next to us having a normal conversation as we were trying to go to sleep. Thermostat kept going to 82 no matter how many times we turned it down to 70.

Our stay at the Tygart Hotel was perfect. Accommodations were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Service all over was exceptional.

Modern rooms with Old building charm

Great place to stay in Elkins! Reasonably priced and the hotel has been completely remodeled, with large rooms, modern features, but combined with the charm and uniqueness of a older cool building. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was very nice. I highly recommend, in fact this is probably the best place to stay in Elkins!

This historic hotel was very well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were so nice, and my room was amazing. The only reason I gave the four was because there wasn’t really anything to do in the area.

I look forward to staying her again. Will come with an appetite as menu was enticing. Had the ceasar with tomato jam - delish! Bed comfortable, room quite, water hot. All good.
