"Our stay at Ivory Resort was fantastic. The room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. The hotel sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and the pool area was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka with fresh ingredients and great choice. The staff were outstanding and incredibly welcoming. They helped with anything we needed and helped arrange our laundry. A special thank you to Kavindra for the warm hospitality and helpful local tips. We also had lunch at the hotel and the food was exceptional. The fried sea bass and prawn curry were cooked to perfection. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend staying here. They also kindly allowed us a late check out which we really appreciated. "

"Everything was divine! Staff was helpful, kind, and extraordinarily friendly, made lots of friends. Location cannot be topped, beach front to an exquisite beach and lovely pool with comfortable loungers. Rooms are tastefully designed with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and so near to the ocean you will have the best sleep ever listening to the sound of crashing waves. Unforgettable experience. "We booked the most expensive room which cost a fortune. When we arrived the room was occupied as they had sold it twice. They put us in the cheapest room with noisy air conditioning and no lock on the patio door. Blaned Hotels.com and offered no compensation or even a courtesy something. "

"Lovely hotel was being repainted as we stayed just out of season. The pool and restaurant were great and the staff were very helpful. Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

"Great property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka "
