โGreat property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka โ

โSuch a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! โ

โThe place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach.
It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are.
Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want.
Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. Some good restaurants very close by.

Contro: gestito da due ragazzi di 18 e 20 anni che NON parlano inglese. Contro: camera tripla vuol dire letto matrimoniale king size da 180cm e non 3 letti Contro: pulizia della camera solo su richiesta al 4 gg l abbiamo sollecitata come il cambio di asciugamani. Contro: non danno teli da spiaggia contro: acqua tiepidina Pro: costo economico...
โUtrolig hyggelige og serviceminded. Vi fikk tilnog med en egen vert, som vi kunne kontakte nesten nรฅr som helst. Alt ordnet seg pรฅ beste mรฅte. Tydelig at hotellet har et bra management. โ

Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. The food was incredible. I felt super safe. I didnโt want to leave.
A must visit - and please do as the Sri Lankan people need visitors right now. โ
โWe loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you canโt swim there because of the rocks, but itโs great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....
