“The room, dining, and pool areas were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, but the mattress on the fold out couch wasn't great.”

“The age of this hotel shows. A fresh coat of paint and some minor fixture repairs would go a long way. Helpful staff added a lot to the stay. The free breakfast was OK, not great.”

“Very cool historic building with antique furnishings and super comfortable bed. Paid a little extra to stay in the presidential suite which was very cool. Suite had a whirlpool, and an awesome sitting room overlooking downtown. My only gripe is the whirlpool wasn't able to get very hot at all. I assume the water heater can't keep up for the tub's demand. One guy on staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the lounge/bar/restaurant is no longer in service. “Our room had a leak from the upstairs unit over our unit over the toilet. My husband is a plumber and he knew it was a leak from the toilet upstairs and it was from dirty toilet water cause it leaked whenever they used the toilet. We were unable to move rooms as the hotel was booked. There was nothing they could do. They said they could look into a credit however when I attempted to talk to them again they didn't help. “No pool, no fitness room. Missing door between room in suite, toilet kept running until you take cover off tank, had to put input on tv everytime you turned it off.”

“We have stayed at this location multiple times and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. We were there over Memorial Day Weekend, and there were little league teams and the boys were running around the whole hotel, so it was loud. The pool is a little cold, but the hot tub is great.”

“Over all the hotel was fine. Location is nice. The worst part of the experience was not having clean sheets. Upon arrival the bed sheets bad a brown stain on them. Staff were nice and made it right, so thank you to them. ”

The room was very humid maybe because right next to the pool area. The breakfast was typical except the waffle machine was broke and didn't show time so waffles ended up burnt. “We were unaware of pet fee when booking on expedia, somehow missed the hidden $75 fee. Along with that fee for an our very well behaved, non-shedding dog, we paid an already high amount for a beat up room. There were many damages to the room, dead bugs on the floor, muddy paw prints in the bathroom and sticky tile. Everything else was average and did not seem to add up to our payment for this. The staff was very unflexible and unhelpful with our concerns. We will never stay at a Residence Inn...
