“Friendly staff good breakfast and comfortable bed”

“Lovely staff, beautiful surroundies good place to access hikes or lovly small towns. Roads are narrow getting there but it is a gorgeous location. Excellent breakfast and pub food. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. “Beautiful hotel and facilities. We loved our room - the bathroom was amazing! Heating and hot water broke on Friday so shower/bath was lukewarm and cold room. which spoiled our evening a little, unfortunately. Staff were lovely and resolved it ready for the next day/eve. Breakfast was wonderful on Sat/Sunday with great choice and quality. Surrounding area is beautiful and we made use of the chauffeur service to come back from our evening at the gorgeous (and highly recommended) Royal Oak...

“Beautiful location, lovely breakfasting room and public interiors. Very tasteful. Very good outside areas too even though the actual outside area was quite compact . It worked. The room was tastefully done and quiet, however the ensuite was rather small, beside the fields. Lots of wildlife. The only point I would make is that the dustbin lorry stopped then went right past my window at 6am. as did an early delivery. Luckily I was already awake . Breakfast was lovely.
