This is an excellent place to stay if you are in the Port Arthur area. Literally on the beach, friendly owners, comfortable bed, all for a good price. Liked it to much we stayed an extra night. Highly recommend

Central location for the Tasman peninsular, and Port Arthur, located on a stunning white beach. Jill is a friendly and knowledgeable host who serves a fantastic breakfast to fuel your exploring. Loved our stay!

ago We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harper's on the Beach. Situated right on the sand dunes of White Beach, this beautiful little B&B is the perfect place to be while visiting the Peninsula. From the verandah you can catch a beautiful sunset over the water, and private access to this beach. John and Jill were wonderful hosts and made us the most delicious breakfast - even accommodating an early breakfast when we had to leave for the airport. The room is a great size for two, and plenty of secure parking. There is a fridge, plenty of tea and coffee, and a mini fridge if required. We will definitely be staying again!

From welcome to departure everything was excellent. Beds were comfy and breakfasts were well received. Above all the location was above anything else we have experienced.

It’s a lovely little bed and breakfast type of place which is all of 30 feet or so from the beach. The bed was comfy, the room was nice and clean, and they had all the normal amenities. The proprietors seemed nice although I had to leave before breakfast so I can’t attest to the food. The rooms surround the dining room where everyone eats dinner and breakfast so you’ll be able to hear them from the room, so don’t plan on sleeping in much later than 8. They have internet but if you plan on streaming movies there may be an additional charge. Normal browsing was fine though. No real complaints though, I’d recommend to friends if they were into b&b’s.
