"The lady that checked me in was so nice and friendly and welcoming. Ice cold AC in the room. The pool was perfect and refreshing in the heat. Overall good stay, just a few nit picks. Overall the hotel seems kind of outdated, maybe needing upgraded. I was disappointed with the hot breakfast. It only had hot oatmeal or waffles. I look forward to this when I stay somewhere and the photos on the booking ad reflect a hot holding pan, which I assume is for eggs and a meat; however, that was not there when we stayed. It is conveniently located near the interstate and easy to get to. It has a Walmart and restaurants like Cracker Barrel and Applebees writhin walking distance, among other places."

"Room was in good condition. Blow dryer did not work. Water did not drain quickly when taking a bath. This motel could use some detailed cleaning and if carpet was replaced this would improve the impression individual get when walking in. Attention was also needed in the pool area."

"This was a great stay. I would have given 5 stars if the elevator had been operating. I was traveling with my mom who has had both hips replaced so, not having an elevator or a ground floor room was a little difficult. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was excellent! The blueberry scones are reason we will return!"

"When staying at a Motel 6, one truly just need a clean bed and shower for the night… unfortunately this property was not clean at all… the staff was very helpful when the toilet didn’t flush and quickly came to fix it. There were maintenance men working when we arrived- hopefully the manager is upgrading the property. The outlets in our room and the lights didn’t work. Only one dim light on the opposite side of the beds… by the time we realized, it was late and we didn’t want to ask to be switched to a different room. Some of the wall air conditioner units in the hallways were removed with only the shell to half cover the hole. Only one washing machine was in working condition (after traveling a week, we had to do laundry). The laundry room floor was dirty and very sticky… overall not a stay that can be recommended to others passing through Las Cruces and just needing a good night’s rest…"

"room was clean. Staff was helpful and nice complimentary breakfast. Laundry room had a foul smell and run down. Hotel posted a a disclaimer saying not responsible for condition of washer and dryer, which I found odd. probably wouldn't book there again, but do like Holiday Inn locations."
