Kandahar Lodge at Whitefish Mountain Resort

"This is a great place! It is a ski lodge. It is well maintained and has a restaurant and a bar in the building. It has a big sitting area with a fireplace. The only draw back is there is no elevator. If you are staying here to go to Glacier National Park, it is about an hour drive to the west entrance and over 2 hour drive to the east entrance. The staff is great, the best I have ever seen. Free washer and dryer. The breakfast is ok. I would definitely stay here again, but not if I am going to Glacier National Park."

"The room was large and very comfortable. My only complaint was that you did not receive housekeeping unless you requested it. I don’t understand why hotels have kept this policy after Covid. The idea is to be treated as a guest and when I come back to an unmade bed and no new towels, I don’t feel like a guest and for $300.00 a night I should feel good when I enter the room. The attendant was very conscious of keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked. Parking was easy and location was convenient."
