“It’s a great hotel, clean, well maintained with efficient and personable staff. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the airport which is very convenient. Unfortunately their free airport shuttle was not working on the day we landed and since we were in our 60s and 70s, had 2 bags each and there are many steps up to get to the hotel, we had to take a 3 minute cab ride to the hotel.”

“We booked for a one night stay but ended up staying a second night. From the moment of our arrival the staff were exemplary. Our bedroom was so relaxing with one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever come across in a hotel. The food was so flavourful and delicious. Such a lovely atmosphere with some of the best trained staff were nothing is too much to ask them and your comfort is what matters. A beautiful place and I wanted to stay longer.”

“The best thing about Galway Bay Hotel is the staff. Absolutely the best hotel staff we had on our trip around Ireland - friendly, professional, and genuine. Although they are right beside an amusement park, the windows are excellent and almost no noise came in. Very comfortable and very walkable into Galway. ”

“Beautiful hotel with excellent entertainment! However Bar service was poor. When we checked in we were asked to book our breakfast which was already paid for. We booked the breakfast for 10:30am. When we arrived for breakfast at 10;30 there was a queue of almost 50 people ahead of us. As we had arrangements made for 12 in town we had no choice but to leave. Very disappointing after paying for it. I would assume after the receptionist insisting we make the reservation that we would not have to...

“Overall property and rooms were clean. Room and bathroom sizes are large. Carpets are clean but old . They could be replaced with hardwood or other materials. Otherwise excellent place to stay”
