town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center.”

“Als Privatmensch suchte ich eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht mit Frühstück, um Verwandte vor Ort zu besuchen.
Bei der Preislage darf man keinen Luxus erwarten! Ein fairer Preis wurde mir zuvorkommender Freundlichkeit und netten Service kombiniert. Das Hotel hat mit Sicherheit schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, dass ein oder andere abgestoßene Möbelstück, in die Jahre gekommene Teppichböden und Matratzen, Duschvorhänge statt Duschkabinen oder Glaswände sprechen für sich.
