“The Was clean and well presented. The staff are lovely chatty and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and made with good quality products. The pub it self is a lovely little pub and with a good selection of drinks for its size.”

“I can’t fault anything about our stay here. The room was spotless and very big with a large TV, tea/coffee facilities, iron, ironing board, heater, fan, king size bed, en-suite etc. There were plenty of parking spaces. The owner and all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and hardworking. The cooked breakfast buffet and continental were excellent with plenty of choice. The evening meals and carvery were delicious and plentiful. This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last....

“My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. “This Inn is a olde style building with wooden beams in the bedrooms etc. As such with this type of building there are low ceilings and hardly a straight wall anywhere. We found that our room although quaint wasn’t spotless as other places we’ve stayed. One of the two window blinds didn’t work, we couldn’t get it to drop down. Not a huge issue as the other blind did close. The biggest issue for us was that one of the two electric fans in the room was so dirty that if you had switched it on the...

“Lovely feeling and pretty room”

“Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.”

“We were only given 1 teabag for our stay. No hot water in the hand basin for shaving.”
