“Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. “Great location, attentive staff. The building is really old and floors uneven, gaps in door frames add to its unique charm. Cathedral right in back and Evensong is recommend to hear the organ and choir. Bell ringing practice is Thursday night and goes on for some time. I had a great stay!”

“We were welcomed and walked to the room by a lovely lady called Lois. She wished me happy birthday and was aware of all dietary requirements and dinner plans. She also informed us we had been upgraded (a massive upgrade btw!) we are so happy with the room/ house haha ! Food was amazing last night and we had such fun exploring the grounds and getting cozy in the room. All of the staff seem so happy to talk to you and are very kind. We will be back or will come to another pig property !!!! Thanks...

“Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase.
