“All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.”

“Property is a farm with lots of animals around. Lovely to see the lambs and the goats were very lively. Room comfy and clean. Breakfast was farm eggs so really fresh. Full English available, cooked to order alongside cereal. Turn into property sharp but we managed long wheel base van with a few manoeuvres”

“A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. ”
