“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”

“Beautiful spot to stay. Downstairs and upstairs were great and comfortable. Church bells ringing next door were peaceful and soothing. ”

“It’s difficult to summarise how badly this place works. Arrival and details were fine, tea was provided but, inexplicably, no coffee and this was indicative of a series of baffling decisions by the owners. There was no welcome manual so we were without hot water for a day until the agents suggested something we could try (which worked). The kitchen is appallingly thought out, the hob has no extractor fan and half of the pans provided are not suitable for an induction hob, the oven needs a clean...

“This place is incredible, and if you have a chance, definitely stay here. Three bedrooms with two double beds and a queen bed, and the most comfortable living room and kitchen. Gorgeous gardens, all the amenities, and a beautiful gift basket with some local treats and Prosecco, welcomed us into the home. I didn’t want to leave the Magnolia Cottage, and I hope to be back.”

“Lovely cottage that was toasty warm on a very cold weekend. Parking behind cottage was a tight squeeze getting in and out.”

“We had such a wonderful break. Location is amazing just off the high street and within walking distance to two amazing pubs- the angel and the lamb. Lots of shops close by and a lovely garden to chill out in. Small but perfectly formed”

“We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...
