“★☆☆☆☆ – A Distressing Experience I Would Never Wish on Another Traveller I booked this property through Expedia for one night and, before travelling, emailed the owners several times to explain that I would be arriving with my trained psychiatric assistance dog. Every email was ignored. Had they simply replied before I travelled, I would have cancelled my booking and stayed elsewhere. Instead, I travelled to the property alone with four suitcases, only to be told on arrival, "We don't allow...

“Closes earlier than specified time (23:00) Very low-valued Guest House, but not cheap. Cold at night.”

Considering the price, location, and quality of stay I highly recommend The Lodge. If you...

Number one room was filled with black bits and calcium build up. Also the hot water in the same room was too difficult to work. We booked the hotel because the advertising...

“Very nice place, the only downside is there were no blackout curtains. So in June, we were woken up very early by the light. Also from the children going to the school right next door. Other than that bed was comfy, very clean and had a very nice welcoming.”
