The evening agent (checkin) was not knowledgeable of the history of the inn, (crucial in a 200 year old home) when asked he just shrugged and pointed to a poster on the wall and left the room. “The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. There was a planned hydro outage during our stay due to local work being done in the area and staff handled it very well. Notifying each client as we walked in and explaining how the generators would keep one elevator working and there would still be hot breakfast available etc. The lobby area was great, offering late night service (beverages, snacks etc) and some game tables so we could enjoy a good old pool game. Free coffee...
