The room was well appointed and exactly as described. Our room was on the third floor so if you have mobility issues, it may be a concern - we didn't mind the stairs. The bed was comfortable, sheets were of high quality. The bathroom has nice ammenities. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly but we only saw the waiter. I liked the Keurig in the room- convenient for the first coffee of the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

the English style decor and the reading room/lounge, bedroom. Only issue is that this place is not for someone who has stair climbing issues or elderly as all room access is 2-3 floors. No buffet breakfast (which is great) because the daily planned options were amazing, just what a healthy good breakfast should be to start the day. Our stay was made comfortable by Cyrus who checked us in, explained everything and also was available for any other things. And Kaitlin for making our breakfasts enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you. We will definitely be going there again in future!

Beautiful heritage home. Private "Limestone" room was nicely decorated, beautiful stained glass window, hot water was plentiful, bed was very comfortable. We were unable to connect to the internet, password was confusing. We enjoyed sipping wine in the parlor very much. We did not share the breakfast, choosing to go elsewhere. It is a lovely stately old home with rooms that are fairly large. As to be expected, the floors creak, the doors let lots of light under them etc. Breakfasts were interesting and the savoury options were very tasty. The place needs a bit of general maintenance (loose knobs on cabinets and shower, squeaky door hinges, dead batteries in the gas fireplace starter etc). Be careful not to book the Lasalle room unless you want to have a bathroom down the hall. This was a nasty surprise and we changed rooms the next day when one became available.
