Room had good square footage for two people and was soundproof and we could see the train station across the street. Air conditioner cooled very well. Breakfast was as good as any but seemed overpriced at 15 euro per person. Staff was super friendly and helpful in navigating the area. The only complaint was the pillows were flat and not fitted in the pillowcase well.

We were so pleased with the Hotel Monopol. Our train was delayed so we missed our connection and needed to overnight in Frankfurt. I booked the hotel and when we arrived, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and our room was huge! The hotel is older but well kept. Our room overlooked a busy street and had fans for moving cool night air into the space. There were gummy bear candies on each pillow, plenty of towels, and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary water, a soda. and a beer. Beds are comfortable and clean; the bathroom was spotless. Check out was equally easy and friendly. If we’re ever passing through Frankfurt again we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The Capri by Fraser is an average to above average hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean,and quiet, but overall the place needs a 'makeover'. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and very professional. One thing that I found self-serving was that you were REQUIRED to join their hospitality/loyalty program to be allowed an early check-in. Totally unnecessary. The hotel comports to be a "green" property, i.e., they don't make-up rooms daily. That was annoying because you have to make your own bed (I'm on vacation) and you have to make sure the towels get hung so they dry. They only made the room up once -- stayed for 5 nites. Had to request additional towels AND tissue. The location isn't the best, but manageable given the proximity of the busses, Trams and U. Had the breakfast buffet one morning. It was very good! Grapefruit juice was exceptional!! Would recommend a street view, such as it is. The back view is of an arena -- concrete behemoth. The a/c left a little to be desired..fortunately the had a fan available. No face clothes in the bathroom - BYO. Overall, it was a 'B'/'B+'.

Great hotel perfectly located near to all the local attractions and city centre. Easily accessible. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from. Friendly staff, clean modern rooms and a nice atmosphere. 👌

Happy and helpful staff. Easy to find location. Fridge with so much needed complimentary water in this heat was so appreciated by my son and I… great breakfast! What else could we ask for when traveling? Thank you!
