"I was not aware there was renovations happening when I booked the reservation. That in and of itself was not an issue. The issues we had with the room included: - the first room we were assigned reeked of cigarette smoke and air freshener, luckily the new one we were moved into did not. - both the bathroom and front room doors did not close properly, meaning had we not noticed the door to the room would not have latched and left it unlocked; the bathroom door was not hung properly during the renovation, so it caught on the doorway threshold and I would not be surprised if it cracked at some point in the future. - the room was cleaned and reset during the one full day we stayed and they neglected to leave an extra toilet paper roll. This was not noticed until the next morning and I went to grab a new roll. - wall are paper thin. - the matress luckily was very comfortable however the bedframe makes a horrible, loud, boom sound when you lay down and get up from the bed. - this was the first hotel room ive ever stayed in where the provided shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Luckily an extra soap bar had been provided. - water pressure was non existant in the shower"

"The staff here is very helpful and very friendly as well. The room was super clean and very comfortable and there prices are average and there are lots of parking spots available. Its near the military base and about twenty minutes away from 6 flags great. "

"This was a stay-cation for me due to me recently having surgery and just wanting to get away for a couple of days. With that said the only complaint I have is that I drive an all electric Volvo and there were no electric hook up in the garage and I had to drive off island to a car dealership to charge my vehicle. I traveled two hours from North Jersey and just assumed they would have a hook-up in the garage that is provided. Other than that it was an awesome 3 day stay-cation."

"It wasn't what I expected at first. I felt it was a sterile environment with the bare essentials. Then it grew on me. The water is hot for a shower, nice towels. The mattress is very comfortable. I've never seen beds like that in a hotel; they are high cots. I do like the bedspreads because they are easy to clean, not like a thick comforter, so I know they are replaced each visit. The property is clean with close parking. I like that there is no carpeting, so it's more sanitary for cleaning. Basic but comfortable. "
