“Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. ”

“Bankes arms!! First of all, I am not good at English, so I am not sure if the meaning will be conveyed well. Because of the connection with other itineraries, I could only plan the itinerary for one night at corfe castle, but it gave me regret that I was only just able to stay for one night. If I stayed for 2-3 nights, I would have added to the flavor of the trip by drinking beer or tea in the garden while looking at the wonderful view, steam train, and castle. “Lovely welcome from reception and easy to check in, parking was ok and understandable that there is only so much they can do to accommodate this with the land around the hotel, so it works once you get the concept. Amazing location right opposite the sea, we were lucky enough to have the sea view room to the front of the hotel too! Plenty of choice at breakfast with very well cooked choice and other items. “To spent our last night in Swanage we transferred from our B&B up to the Purbeck. Ideal location for walkers and location to town and beach . We liked having a lounge and bar for the evening . Bed was comfortable and bathroom standard. Loved looking around the old architecture and period interior detail , a very pleasant stay. ”
