“The hotel looks very stylish and great it’s seconds from the wildlife park. We had a room facing the courtyard which was lovely. There was plenty to do and shops on site. “Spa area is amazing. Pool perfect temp. Steam rioms, sauna and aromatherapy rooms wonderful. Jacuzzi, warm but the hydro beds were not working. Gym well equipped but old weight machines. Staff were excellent, welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Parking is excellent. Room was spacious, lean and tidy however, the ironing board and iron do need replacing as stained quite badly so unuseable. Easy to get into York as a bus stops almost outside and is only £2.50 single, takes approximately 20...

“Modern renovation, while retaining some original features (e.g. flagstone floor in cafe area). Clean and comfortable. Everything was self service so no staff on site (a bit impersonal but not really an issue). Definitely a good option for fellow solo visitors to the area.”

“We had a room right at the end of a corridor so it was very quiet considering there was a wedding there. The room was spacious and clean and the air con was great for such a hot weekend.
